By 1993, the California native was able to turn his love for the craft into a highly successful shoe line known for custom shoes with personality and style. For many years, it was only Esquivel cutting each piece of material and hand-stitching the soles of every shoe. Now, the company employes a team of skilled artisans that have over 150 years of shared experience in the field. Esquivel values the art of true craftsmanship and goes to great measures to assure that each shoe looks and feels bespoke. All footwear is made by hand using unique, handmade tools and finished to give each shoe a unique look. The company has been featured in several publications and boasts a client list that includes rock stars, fashion icons, and members of royal families.
