The daughter of an Italian dressmaker herself, Alberta Ferretti opened her first boutique at the age of 18. This life of fashion seamlessly evolved into the designing of her first collection in 1974, followed by the launching of her eponymous label in 1980. Alberta Ferretti saw her first collection walk the runway in Milan the following year. Known for its ultra-femme cocktail dresses and event-worthy gowns, the line boasts beautiful chiffon, Georgette, satin, and lace renderings.
