Leonello Borghi began his career in luxury leather accessories at a very young age. A native of Florence, Borghi's swift rise into fashion began right after high school graduation when he was hired by master leather artisan Gino Ferruzzi. After moving to Paris and working for Prada, the young designer relocated to New York. Here, he helped launch accessory lines for Georgio Armani and Ralph Lauren. Borghi never gave up his childhood dream of launching a luxury brand, and in 2001 debuted his eponymous line of men's accessories. Following the collection's success, in 2007 he developed a line of women's accessories to match. Praised for their versatility and ultra-luxe materials, like deerskin and stingray, Borghi's leather bags always mirror his quest to perfect the marriage of form and function.
