Jennifer Fisher, a native of Santa Barbara, California, began her career in fashion, working in both Los Angeles and New York as a wardrobe stylist for numerous feature films, television shows, and commercials. After 10 years of dressing some of the biggest names in Hollywood, Jennifer met her husband and moved to New York City where they decided to start her family. When their first child Shane was born Jennifer wanted a piece of jewelry that not only had his name on it, but also expressed her personal style. Unable to find anything unique and not mass produced, she designed her own special piece that reflected the significance of his birth. It was a simple dog tag charm hand stamped with his name on it, which she wore on a long, thick link chain. After friends, family, and strangers requesting that Jennifer make them pieces of their own, Jennifer Fisher Jewelry was born.
