Annie Costello Brown is known for her line of accessories that mix materials and offer quirky-yet-elegant personality. Brown grew up in Sausalito, CA, where she was raised by her equally as artsy parents (dad is a musician and mom a trained metalsmith who makes her own jewelry) before moving to San Francisco to attend the San Francisco Art Institute. After graduation, Brown headed to Los Angeles, where she cut her teeth working at Billykirk before launching her own line in 2005. Brown has collaborated with big names like YSL and Urban Outfitters to create complex pieces that meddle in many influences, including tribal themes, folk art, and gothic edge.
