The much awaited and anticipated Kanye West x Adidas Originals collaboration debuted the New York Fashion Week runway in February 2015. Alongside the coveted Yeezy boosts, his men’s ready-to-wear collection played on his interpretation of the London riots. Uniquely translating military inspired silhouettes into a muted color palette of neutrals and dark hues, West himself quoted his “solutions-based” clothing line as an experience: “I don’t want the clothes to be the life; I want the clothes to help the life.”
