Designed in New York City and handmade in Oaxaca, Mexico, Truss focuses on quality, sustainability and functionality. Because Oaxaca is rich with vibrant colors, cultural traditions and unique artisanal trades, designers Elise Durbecq and Gilian Tozer find themselves inspired by the bright colors, geometric shapes and sturdiness of the traditional market bags found throughout the area. Truss maintains its authenticity by working with small business owners and weavers in the Oaxaca region to produce custom woven bags and accessories.
